A totally unique solar powered kit! You can now build your own flasher lamp with the parts included in this kit. This flasher operates on 2 AA nimh rechargeable batteries (included).
You can place the panel in a sunny window or outside in the sun and the system will charge up during the daytime hours. The flashing red led will then turn on at night and operate by flashing all night long!
Your batteries will be longer lasting, so you will be able to enjoy this light for many months to come without having to replace batteries. A nice solar project for educational purposes. This solar kit is especially good for the beginner to learn just what a solar panel can do.

The solar panel when placed in the sun or under a 75 watt light bulb can light up the led by itself. It can also make the motor run and the propeller turn.
The panel, when hooked up to the batteries and placed in the sun, can charge the batteries up. The blocking diode prevents discharging when not in the sun (at night or in the shade). You can then run the light and the motor together, or by themselves, operating off the batteries!
